GRAND OPENING of New State-Of-The-Art Digital Podcast, Recording, and Music Studio in St. Paul

St. Paul, Minn. (January 29, 2024) – OMG Media Solutions is thrilled to announce the grand opening and ribbon cutting event/open house of OMG Studios, a new state-of-the-art digital recording, production and livestream studio in St. Paul (550 Vandalia Street, Suite 220 B) on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11 a.m.

Known for its Juneteenth ﬁlms and its Celebrate Culture and Community partnership with the Minnesota State Fair, OMG Studios is committed to its consistent track record of producing educational programming and developing youth talent in media and entertainment.

The invite-only grand opening is being hosted by the Midway Chamber of Commerce and St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter. St. Paul City Council member Mitra Jalali will help with the ribbon-cutting honors as well. Live music will openand close the event featuring Thomasina Petrus accompanied by Thom West and Twin Cities’ own Nunnabove. A private evening event will feature DJ Lenka Paris.

This new venue is home to OMG Studios and KZMO HD, two of the OMG Media Solutions companies, as well as the Innovation Lab Project, which is a youth music and art development program supported by community partners including:

OMG Media Solutions Founder and CEO Monique Linder says, “I am excited to bring OMGStudios to the Creative Enterprise Zone in the City of Saint Paul and to partner with amazing community organizations, musicians, artists, and producers to develop youth talent in music and art and pass on our knowledge in our talent Innovation Lab.

Linder had a vision in 2014 to create a unique media brand that focused on cultural programming. OMG Media Solutions was born.

Local musicians make a big impact at the MN State Fair

A big shout to all musicians from near and far who performed at the MN State Fair. In 12 days, guests experienced over 900 shows that took place on 5 stages and the Grandstand. In addition, many vendors feature live entertainment in their space, i.e. The Hangar.

I believe the headline news story is how many local musician graces the stages and greatly contributed to the memorable experiences had by 1.9 million guests who came to the 2023 Great Minnesota Get Together. These local musicians are saluted for their contribution to celebration of culture and community. We saw you and salute your contribution to music and art, which is essential to human survival and development.
