The Family Stone Everyday People Tour Honoring Sly Stone kicks off in Las Vegas, NV at The Cannery Casino & Hotel on October 25th.

This isn’t just a concert—It’s a historic homecoming honoring Sylvester Stewart aka “Sly Stone.” Las Vegas holds a special place in the heart of Sly and the Family Stone’s legendary history. Fifty-seven (57) years ago in 1967, the band performed their first-ever concert in Las Vegas, right after signing with Epic Records. Their month-long residency at Pussycat-A-GO-GO was where they honed the iconic sound that changed music forever. And during their off days, they recorded their debut album, A Whole New Thing, which was released on October 1, 1967. The following year, Sly and the Family Stone recorded their groundbreaking album, Dance to the Music.

Now, 57 years later, the FUNK is back where it all began!
